MAKE YOUR PREFERRED DECISION

A fertility center to suit your taste

It is important that you feel 100% taken care of during the fertility treatment. Special attention should be paid to the equipment of the fertility center and the qualifications of the doctors. The atmosphere on site should also be perceived as very pleasant.

In each clinic there is also a contact person who is responsible for your personal well-being. If you have any questions about fertility treatment in your area, you can contact our patient advisors with confidence. Talk to us!

CHILD WISH SUPPORT IN DORTMUND

How much does your fertility treatment cost?

The costs for assisted reproduction can be very high and, depending on the extent, hardly affordable out of one’s own pocket. Intrauterine insemination (IUI) involves placing the partner’s sperm directly into the woman’s uterus to increase the likelihood of pregnancy. Multiple attempts are often necessary.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is far more complex. The woman’s retrieved eggs come into contact with the man’s treated sperm in the laboratory. If the fusion is successful, the fertilized egg is inserted into the woman’s uterus. The great advantage is the short distance the sperm have to travel.

In its coalition agreement in November 2021, the new German government announced that unintentionally childless women would receive better support in the future. In addition, under certain circumstances, health insurance companies will cover a proportion of the costs of your treatment. If you would like to receive more information about this, please contact our patient advisors here.

CHILD WISH SUPPORT IN DORTMUND

Is there a promotion for the desire to have children in Dortmund?

The new German government is also concerned about Germans fulfilling their desire to have children. For this reason, it is possible to apply for state support from both the federal and state governments. The “Guideline on the Granting of Allowances for the Promotion of Assisted Reproduction Measures” serves as the basis for the funding of fertility treatments. This guideline stipulates that only couples whose main residence is in North Rhine-Westphalia and whose treatment takes place in a reproduction facility in NRW can benefit from the financial assistance. Unmarried heterosexual couples are granted benefits in the form of an additional flat rate of 30% on certain maximum funding amounts for the first to third treatment cycle.

The new federal government believes that childless couples and singles who wish to have children should be given the opportunity to have a child. To this end, it let it be known in its coalition agreement that involuntarily childless persons should be better supported in the future.

Further requirements are:

  • Proven infertility by a doctor
  • Proven success of fertility treatment
  • A psychosocial consultation

If you would like to receive free, no-obligation advice from our patient advisors on any of these topics, you can book an appointment here.

FIND FERTILITY CENTER

What are important criteria when choosing a fertility center?

In order to fulfil your desire to have a child, you should choose a fertility clinic that meets your specific requirements and importantly where you feel comfortable. When choosing a clinic, there are a number of aspects to consider to ensure that the therapy goes as smoothly as possible. The success of a therapy depends on various factors. Both the experience and qualifications of the medical team and the technological status of the laboratory equipment (for example, whether the clinic has a clean room laboratory) can have an impact on the success rate.

In addition to the success rate, there are other issues that can be decisive in the selection process. Good counselling on the choice of therapy, as well as personal care and the availability of the doctor can help reduce personal concerns and ensure no questions go unanswered. To instil personal confidence in the process, hearing the experiences of previous patients can also give an indication of the quality or shortcomings of a practice.

Another aspect to consider are the costs. To avoid surprises, fertility centres that maintain a high degree of price transparency are recommended. In the case of treatments with donor sperm, it is recommended you ensure there is a cooperation between clinics and an experienced sperm bank, as they often offer a larger selection of donor profiles and have many years of experience in the field of sperm donation.

When selecting our partner clinics, we always make sure that both heterosexual and homosexual couples, as well as single women are treated.
Are you struggling to find a fertility centre that is right for you or do you have questions about available therapies and treatment methods? Our friendly team are happy to help you in a free consultation.
